Analysis components

MiruSuite can analyze video and audio feeds to extract useful information for your production. Analysis components are usually dependencies of other components. The following components are available:

Audio Analyzer

The Audio Analyzer component can analyze and classify an audio feed into different categories like silence, speech, laughter, applause, and music. This information can be used to trigger actions in the AutoCut algorithm.

Person Tracker

The Person Tracker component can track people in a video feed. This component is necessary for the head tracking director.

The following settings are available:

• Tracking mode: Define which persons are selected for tracking.
  • All: Immediately select any recognized person for tracking.
  • Single: Track only a single known person using face recognition. The person can be selected using an additional dropdown. Any person from the Persons tab can be selected.
  • Manual: Manually select a person by clicking on the tracking box to follow that person. If a person is lost, the camera will not automatically select another person.
• Learn Target: Learn the face of the currently tracked person. This will record images of the currently tracked person over the next five seconds for face recognition and save these images to the database. The new images are either merged with an existing person or a new person is created. The results can be seen in the Persons tab and can be used for the Single tracking mode.

You can also manually select the target person by clicking on their bounding box in the video feed. The selected person will have a solid bounding box around them. All other persons will have a dashed bounding box.

Presentation Analyzer

The Presentation Analyzer component can analyze a presentation feed and detect slide changes or animations. This information can be used to trigger actions in the AutoCut algorithm. It is a requirement for devices with the Presentation AutoCut role.
