Devices

The Devices view is where you manage the video and audio devices in your project. It shows each device and its configured components, such as inputs, trackers, directors and controllers.

You can switch between the standard grid and the horizontal view modes by clicking on the icons on the top right:

Video devices include a live preview. Open a device to configure its components and use the quick control actions in the device footer for common camera and preview tasks:

Collapse devices in horizontal view

Horizontal view lets you collapse device cards into narrow vertical strips, keeping more devices visible while preserving quick access to each device.

1. Open the Devices page and select Horizontal view using the view toggle.
2. Click the collapse button on a device card to reduce it to a narrow strip.
3. Click the expand button, or double-click the vertical device name, to restore the card.

Collapsed devices are remembered separately for each project and saved in the browser. Switching back to Vertical view clears the collapsed-device state, so cards are expanded when you use Horizontal view again.

Move the camera to a selected frame

On a video device page, you can use the drag-to-frame tool to reposition and zoom a PTZ camera to a selected area of the live preview.

1. Make sure the device has a running PTZ controller.
2. Click the drag-to-frame toggle in the device page footer to enable it.
3. Drag over the desired area in the live preview and release.

The camera moves to the tightest matching 16:9 frame. Note that small or empty selections are ignored, and the tool is unavailable while the PTZ controller is stopped.
