Game Controller

It is possible to control PTZ cameras using a standard game controller.

Compatible Controllers

We use the browser based Gamepad API to support a wide range of controllers. We recommend Xbox or PlayStation controllers.

Setup

1. Connect a controller to your computer (USB or Bluetooth).
2. Focus the MiruSuite Web Interface in your browser and hit any button on the controller (otherwise the browser can't see the controller).
3. Open the Settings view and click on the Control tab. Under Select a controller, select the controller you want to use. If you don't see your controller, try hitting a button on it again.
4. Below you see the different actions and current values of the axis. You can invert and change the sensitivity of each axis.
5. Select the gamepad icon on any device with an enabled PTZ controller on the devices page.

Controls

• Left Stick: Pan & Tilt
• Right Stick: Zoom
• LT, RT: Zoom alternatively
• LB, RB: Change device
• A: Toggle director
• B: Return to home position
